If only you could see the kitchen, you would never eat here. Embarrassment of an establishment. Lacks class, professionalism and focus. Lame menu, overpriced Sysco product and tired theme.

Food is average at best and not cheap. Do yourself a favor and patronize one of the 'real' Italian restaurants in SSM!

We walked in the door and thought it might be pretty good. Really nice decor and we were seated quickly. We were soon disappointed. We were brought a really nice basket of bread with a red napkin wrapped around it...the bread was cold?! I then noticed that they put a bottle of olive oil on the table, but no balsamic and the Parmesan was the cheap dried variety. The pasta we ordered was overcooked and the meatballs were some sort of processed goo. The same prefab sauce was on both our meals. I found a hair in my meal and was completely grossed out. The waitress was friendly and quick but there were some holes in the service. My husband's salad plate was cleared before I had finished eating. The bathroom was disgusting and I had to stand behind the toilet to get out of the stall. There was no paper towel in the bathroom. They advertise as "Homemade" but is a far far cry from that. It wasn't a reasonable price either. Even after the waitress removed my meal from the bill we still spent $50 and it was pretty awful. I would NOT recommend anyone go to this restaurant!

Very unfriendly service from an establishment that should know better. They definately recycle food, such as bread an salads, which makes question what other unhealthy practices are going on in the kitchen.

In short I can say, food is excellent, service is good!

Whoever thinks this is the best restaurant has obviously not eaten in very many places. Food is overpriced for what you get and service is seriously lacking.

Service was horrible...ordered pasta with goat cheese and they brought me feta...when I asked for goat cheese the waitress took the plate back to the kitchen and came back with the same plate and said that it was goat cheese. Asked around and found out that the feta they use is not goat cheese. so instead of offering the creamy goat cheese that the waitress admitted to having on site I was left with pasta that I did not order. Needless to say we will not be back. The rest of our party was not impressed with the service or the food either.

Giovannis is my favourite resturant in Sault Ste Marie, and could easily be my all time favourite. They have delicious food, great service and the price is not bad!! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious Italian meal
