20 cents wings on Sunday was like a weekly Christmas for me. I love chicken wings as much as patriots love their firearms. So basically I used to go quite frequently to Reggie’s place and why not for 20 cents a wing? So beside the low price point there wasn’t much to be said about anything else, it was just mediocre. But the last time I went was like getting punched with brass knuckles in the nose. I come in with my usual arrangement of guest and sit down. It’s all good, the dedicated drink lady comes over and starts taking our order. Except she’s not that happy, so when I asked what the cheapest draft was, she snarls at me like she was a Ohio BMV employee. Wow, okay sorry Miss. A person traveling with me got a pretty nice rebuttal when asking for a certain brand of pop that of course they didn’t have. Soon after she disappears into the sea of tables but her voice still carry’s on, she seems pretty damn happy talking to another group of people. Maybe they were her precious regulars. A few minutes later the drinks come, sure it’s all good now. She seemed more cheered up, maybe some of the regulars shot a funny joke her way or something. So basically I got my beer, my party their drinks, and we are all set, just had to wait for the chicken wing lady. Except she didn’t come, we start speculating theories like they were making us wait to get more drinks out of us. It of course wasn’t my first time coming. She was supposed to come pretty soon after the drinks were fulfilled. Anyways, I came for some damn chicken wings and I was getting them. Like survivors waiting in frigid north Atlantic waters I waited patiently for the chicken wing lady. A literal hour passes before anything, most people would’ve bugged out at that point. But I’m all or nothing. We look around for the dedicated wing lady and she is gone. People came in after us, and seemed to get their food. Well eventfully the chicken wing lady retreats out of the liar of a kitchen and starts walking down our row. My buddy being pretty pissed, pipes up and demands service.
“Oh I thought you were taken care of” she says.
Seriously?
Okay whatever so we order up get our food and we all sliently decree to ourselves that was the last time we’d step foot into Reggies. Though people may disagree with this sentiment, I made sure that the people with me didn’t tip. Perhaps the worst service I ever gotten anywhere.

WHATS UP REGGIES...NO COMPLAINTS HERE !!! This is definately an establishment you need to stop by-especially on Karoke days. My family and I are from the States and we make sure to stop there everytime time we are in town! We usually make it there at LEAST once a year!! I like the service, waitress's, and the ambience. My nephew even took a hit at the STAGE-and he was only 4! Again, thank you so much from making us feel like more then just customers! We appreciate all the MEMORIES!!!
-and for the ONLY disguested customer---YOUR OPINION DOESN'T EVEN MATTER!!!
Reggies keep up the great work !!

The wings are delicious and are a good size. They are only 20 cents on Sundays. The atmosphere is o.k., but Reggie should hire some younger waitresses as the ones he employs now are rough and tough and hard to bluff.

I enjoy the music, service and style of Reggie's. It's a respectable bar. the people are friendly the atmosphere is comfortable. The location is in the heart of the city, so there is always someone around to talk to. The bands that perform there are upbeat and play an array of style of beats that get people up and dancing! So, if your looking for a place to enjoy yourself.. I highly recommend Reggie's!

I will never revisit this establishment. The staff and owner are rude and shysters. The place is dirty, the drinks watered down and the service shoddy.I have found appalling things in my food from there and would sooner eat off my floor than touch anything from Reggie's to my lips.I have witnessed putrid meat won as a prize from a draw at Reggie's.If it was me i would of ensued legal action.
I personally have been given incorrect change for my beverages and have witnessed this done to other people on several occasions. In my opinion the owner"Reggie" looks like a sopranos wanna- be fallback from the 80's.I have known staff/owner to get kicks out of belittle-ing and humiliating some of their regular customers,on several occasions.I find this behavior juvenile and disgusting in itself.Grab a clue Reggie and staff! You seem to forget that you chose a service industry as a profession .It's your customer's dollar who buys that stack of gold chains wrapped, maybe a little too tightly, around your neck. It's beyond me how you can hold your head up and take pride in your tavern.Consider arming yourselves with some manners, standards, lysol, and some couth!!!

Just returned from 4000 mile motorcycle trip from Tampa to Ontario. Highlight of trip was stopping at Reggies late afternoon for a beer after a long hot day on the road. Met Reggie and his sister Lorraine. Very nice folks along with some regulars in bar. Reggie even bought us a round and mentioned the live music that evening and we should come back later. Well what a great time . Had no clue the Canadians were so friendly. One of our group had been there 15 years ago and he said nothing had changed.

Two colleagues and myself vistited Reggie's for a pitcher after supper at about 8pm, or at least we had planned to. We walked in the door, sat down at a table and we ordered a pitcher of Budweiser. We instantly felt out of place and all eyes were on us. The waitress came back about a minute later, "pitcherless" and told us that we had had too much already and she was informed not to serve us. We were totally thrown off as we had just came from supper and none of us had had more than a coffee or an iced tea. We told the waitress this, and she went back behind the bar and spoke to her manager, came back and insisted we leave. Wow... I have never been thrown out of a bar for being over intoxicated, let alone have I ever been thrown out of a bar when I was completely sober. Unless you are a regular, expect to be thrown out or at least be judged by every set of eyes in the bar.

I visited Reggie's Place Tavern only a couple of times. I live in northern Michigan, in Grand Traverse county, so I don't get to go there very often. However, I would just like to say, I believe Reggie's is by far the, most fun and pleasent place to visit, that I have been to.
They make you feel like you were born and raised there, like you are part of the family.
Good for you, Ontario!
